The Yamashita 4.5-inch Squid is a purpose-built soft bait for trolling that delivers lifelike action to attract salmon, trout and other gamefish. Manufactured in Japan from specialty vinyl, this 4.5-inch squid is designed to perform when trolled behind a flasher or dodger and holds up through repeated use in saltwater conditions.

- Rigging Options: Available rigged with dual Sharp 4/0 hooks on a 40 lb, 72-inch leader, or non-rigged in 5-packs for custom rigs.
- Trolling Action: Body profile and soft construction create a life-like swimming motion ideal for trolling behind flashers and dodgers.
Anglers choose Yamashita squid for consistent action and durable construction. The soft vinyl improves hook penetration and retention while the rigged option saves time when setting up a trolling spread. Use this lure for saltwater and anadromous runs, pairing it with standard trolling gear, flashers/dodgers, and appropriate leaders.
Specifications: 4.5-inch body length; lure weight approximately 0.005 kg (5 g / 0.18 oz). Rigged variants include dual 4/0 hooks and a 72-inch leader. Store away from other soft plastics and rinse after saltwater use to extend life.
