All orders ship from The Harbour Chandler in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.

Order Processing & Delivery

Orders are typically delivered within 4–7 business days.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location, carrier, weather conditions, product availability, and other circumstances outside our control.

We ship using Canpar, Canada Post, Purolator, DHL, and other carriers as required.

Free Shipping Within Canada

The Harbour Chandler offers free standard ground shipping on eligible Canadian orders over $120 before tax.

Free Shipping Exclusions

Free shipping does not apply to:

• Rural postal codes where the second character is 0 (for example, V0R, V0N, or A0A)

• P.O. Boxes

• Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut

• New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador

• Kingcome Inlet and Kitkatla

• Orders with a total shipping weight over 30 lb

• Oversized or unusually bulky products

• Hazardous or regulated goods

• Special-order items

• Products requiring truck freight or specialized transportation

Certain products may be excluded from free shipping because of their size, weight, or shipping requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, downriggers, line haulers, boats, motors, appliances, anchors, paint, flares, fire extinguishers, compressed gas, and other regulated materials.

Orders containing a high proportion of clearance, closeout, or heavily discounted merchandise may also be excluded from free shipping when the cost of shipping is disproportionately high compared with the value of the order.

If free shipping is not available, applicable shipping rates will be displayed at checkout whenever possible.

The Harbour Chandler reserves the right to determine free-shipping eligibility based on the products ordered, destination, carrier availability, package size and weight, shipping restrictions, and actual shipping cost.

Oversized & Heavy Orders

Orders with a total shipping weight over 30 lb are considered oversized for the purposes of our shipping policy and are not eligible for free shipping.

Products may also be considered oversized regardless of weight if their dimensions or packaging result in additional carrier charges.

Oversized products may include dinghies, boats, motors, refrigerators, large appliances, anchors, downriggers, line haulers, and other large or bulky merchandise.

Oversized orders may be subject to additional shipping charges or require truck freight or another specialized shipping service.

Available rates will be displayed at checkout whenever possible. If additional arrangements or a freight quote are required, we will contact you before shipping your order.

Hazardous & Regulated Items

Certain products have special transportation requirements. This may include paint, flares, fire extinguishers, epoxies, compressed gas, and other hazardous or regulated materials.

Hazardous and regulated products:

• Are not eligible for free shipping

• Must ship using an eligible ground transportation service

• May not be available for shipping to all destinations

If an item cannot be safely or reasonably shipped to your address, we will contact you to discuss available options.

United States Orders

Free shipping does not apply to U.S. orders, regardless of order value.

All U.S. orders ship from The Harbour Chandler in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.

Shipping rates are calculated based on the carrier, destination, package size, and weight.

Customs, Duties & Tariffs

U.S. customers are responsible for applicable import duties, customs fees, taxes, tariffs, and other import charges.

These charges are not included in our advertised product prices or standard shipping rates unless specifically stated otherwise.

Where required, The Harbour Chandler may contact you to collect applicable duties, tariffs, or other charges before your order can be shipped.

International Orders

Orders shipped outside Canada and the United States are not eligible for free shipping.

All international orders ship from Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.

International customers are responsible for applicable import duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage charges, tariffs, and other import-related charges.

Depending on the destination and products ordered, additional shipping charges may be required. If necessary, we will contact you after your order is placed to confirm available shipping options and any additional costs.

We recommend checking your country's import requirements before placing an order.

Order Verification

To help protect our customers and prevent fraudulent transactions, The Harbour Chandler may request additional verification before shipping an order.

For purchases over $200, we may request photo identification or other information necessary to verify the order.

Orders requiring verification will not be shipped until the verification process has been completed.
