The Yakima Bait Cut Plug is a 3 inch trolling plug designed to mimic a wounded cut-plug herring, delivering lifelike spinning action and a tail kick that provokes strikes from salmon, trout and kokanee. Yakima Bait engineered this trolling lure with a two-part durable body and an easy-fill bait chamber to disperse scent steadily, making it ideal for extended trolling sessions.

Key Features

  • Lifelike Action: Tight spinning roll and tail kick imitate real baitfish to trigger aggressive strikes.
  • Easy-Fill Bait Chamber: Holds and disperses scent evenly to reduce re-baiting and keep the lure active longer.
  • Pre-Rigged & Durable: Supplied pre-rigged with strong leader and corrosion-resistant hooks; two-part construction for long life.

Whether you're trolling for salmon, trout or kokanee, the Yakima Bait Cut Plug is built for consistent performance behind dodgers, flashers, downriggers and standard trolling rigs. The compact 3 inch profile tracks well at a range of trolling speeds and blends with common freshwater trolling setups. It's effective in both freshwater and nearshore saltwater conditions when targeting baitfish-feeding predators. Yakima Bait lures are trusted by anglers who want dependable action and easy-to-use scent delivery.

Packaging: 2-pack of 3" plugs. Packaged weight approximately 0.2 lb; estimated packaged dimensions ~6.0 x 3.5 x 0.5 inches. Compatible with standard trolling accessories and leader connections.
