The Yakima Bait Cut Plug 3.0 is a 3-inch trolling plug designed to mimic a wounded cut-herring, delivering a tight spinning roll and tail kick that entices salmon, trout and kokanee. This 2-pack from Yakima Bait features durable two-part construction and an easy-fill bait chamber that holds and evenly disperses scent while trolling.

Key Features

  • Lifelike Action: Tight spinning cut-plug motion and pronounced tail kick to provoke strikes from salmon, trout and kokanee.
  • Bait Chamber: Open, easy-fill cavity disperses scent consistently for longer attraction between re-baits.
  • Ready to Troll: Two-part durable plastic construction; pre-rigged with 30# leader and appropriately sized hooks (3-inch rig typically uses 2-2/0 hooks).

Yakima Bait built the Cut Plug 3.0 for anglers who troll for pelagic species; its 3-inch profile pairs well with dodgers, flashers, downriggers and planer boards. The two-pack format gives you spares for changing conditions, and the rugged construction helps the plugs hold up to repeated use in freshwater and inshore environments.

Specifications: 3-inch lure length; sold as a 2-pack. Packaged weight approximately 0.2 lb and estimated packaged size ~5 in L x 3 in W x 0.75 in H. Compatible with standard trolling leaders, dodgers, flashers and downrigger setups.
