The Victron MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-50 120V is a true sine wave inverter/charger with a high-speed AC transfer switch, built for marine, RV, and off-grid systems. It combines reliable inverter power with adaptive battery charging in a single compact unit.
If shore or generator power is lost, the MultiPlus-II switches to inverter mode in under 20 milliseconds, keeping sensitive electronics and navigation equipment running without interruption.
PowerControl and PowerAssist work together to prevent overload on a limited AC source, supplementing peak demand with power drawn from the battery.
Output 1 provides no-break power to essential loads. Output 2 only activates when shore or generator power is available, keeping non-essential loads like water heaters from draining the battery.
Up to six MultiPlus-II units can be connected in parallel for a combined 15kW/18kVA output with 420 amps of charging capacity. Three units can also be configured for three-phase power.
An adaptive four-stage charging algorithm optimizes the charge cycle based on battery condition and supports dual battery banks. Setup uses DIP switches, and when connected to a Color Control GX or other GX device, the system can be monitored and adjusted remotely over Ethernet.
It's the 48V, 3000VA model with a 35-50A charger, in a 120V configuration.
