The Victron GlobalLink 520 connects your Victron installation to the internet using 4G LTE-M, a low-power cellular technology built for IoT devices. It supports handovers and roaming, so it works in a moving vehicle such as a campervan, and coverage keeps expanding as local providers roll out support. Purchase includes 5 years of connectivity, so there's no separate data plan or SIM card to buy.
Two communication ports let you connect up to two VE.Direct devices, such as a BMV Battery Monitor and an MPPT Solar Charge Controller, directly to VRM. Two digital inputs that double as pulse counters, plus a remote-controllable relay, make it a complete solution for monitoring and controlling your installation.
A built-in antenna is designed for global reception, though an external antenna can be added if you need stronger reception or are installing the module inside a utility van.
Victron Remote Management
The online Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal gives you access to your installation from anywhere. Check connected products, view history graphs of your energy use, generate reports, and configure automatic alarms.
