Excellent rod

Great rod for the price. Loads up nicely, detects the lightest of hits and has the backbone for serious fish.

Great 9 foot downrigger rod

Nice balance and match with my TYEE reel. Sensitive to detect light bites, but loads up progressively for head shakes and aggressive runs with plenty of backbone to bring the fish in. First impressions very good.

I have owned one of these rods for 5 yrs and have caught many salmon with it.
It is close to the perfect down rigger rod soft enough to see even small shakers hit yet wth enough backbone to easily pop the pin when needed 9’ length is great in a smaller boat
