The Spirit Lures Loony Spoon MAX is a versatile spoon fishing lure built to entice strikes from trout, salmon, steelhead and larger gamefish. With a stainless‑steel body and a 3D high‑chroma UV scale finish, this spoon produces a lifelike "crippled baitfish" action and added reflectivity—ideal for both freshwater and saltwater fishing.
Key Features
- Stainless Steel Body: Saltwater‑strong construction resists corrosion.
- 3D UV Scale & Pearl Glow: High‑chroma pattern and glow backing increase visibility in low light and deep water.
- Range of Sizes: Available in 2.5", 3.0", 3.75" and 4.5" blade lengths with matched hook sizes for targeted species.
Anglers choose the Spirit Lures Loony Spoon MAX for its balanced action across trolling and casting speeds; recommended retrieve ranges vary by size (roughly 1.0–4.0+ mph), making it effective for trout, walleye, salmon, pike and striped bass. Welded stainless rings and quality Mustad hooks reduce gear failures, and the slim, reflective profile fishes well on standard rigs—trolling lines, sideplaners or snap swivels. Spirit Lures' finish helps when fishing stained or deep water where flash and UV response trigger more strikes.
