The Spirit Lures Loony Spoon MAX is a metal fishing spoon lure engineered to imitate a crippled baitfish and provoke strikes in both freshwater and saltwater. Designed for casting and slow trolling, the Loony Spoon MAX features a thin stainless-steel body, a high-chroma 3D UV scale finish and a pearl-white glow back to maximize reflectivity and visibility at depth.

Key Features

  • Stainless Steel Body: Corrosion-resistant construction built for saltwater use and extended durability.
  • 3D High-Chroma UV Scale: Reflective pattern increases visibility in varied light and water conditions.
  • Pearl White Glow Back: Enhances contrast and targetability in low light and deep water.
  • Sizes & Weights: Available in 2.5" (7 g), 3.0" (10 g), 3.75" (15 g) and 4.5" (20 g) to match baitfish profiles and target species.
  • Quality Hardware: Stainless welded rings and Mustad hooks (model varies by size) for secure hookups.

Anglers choose the Spirit Lures Loony Spoon MAX for its lively “dancing” action and saltwater-ready construction. Use smaller sizes for trout, walleye and char; step up to 3.75" and 4.5" for salmon, pike and striped bass. The spoon pairs well with standard split rings and swivels and fits medium-to-heavy spinning or baitcasting setups for both casting and trolling applications.
