The Shimano Vanford A is a lightweight spinning reel from Shimano's MagnumLite lineup, built for finesse techniques where low start-up inertia and quick hook-sets matter.
An MGL Rotor and lightweight CI4+ body keep the reel's overall weight down, helping anglers stay in immediate control during start-and-stop retrieves and adjust cadence quickly to match fish behaviour.
InfinityXross gearing and Infinity Drive technology work together to reduce friction between the spool shaft and pinion gear, delivering a smooth, efficient retrieve for delicate lure presentations. DuraCross drag technology combines felt and carbon components for added drag durability when fighting bigger fish.
