The Shimano Talica 16IIA is a 2-speed lever drag reel built for long fights with big game fish. Infinity Drive technology reduces side-load pressure on the drag, giving up to 30% lighter rotation when cranking under heavy drag settings.
Key Features
X-Protect technology improves water resistance in key areas without adding weight, and the included Light-Line Drag Cam gives a lower drag curve for anglers fishing mono or lighter fluorocarbon leaders.
The HAGANE Body is made from rigid aluminum to keep the reel light while resisting flex, warp, and distortion under load. The S-Compact design also shrinks the palming side plate by 6% compared to the previous generation, for a more comfortable grip during long fights.
