The Shimano SLX 151 is a low-profile baitcasting reel with a HAGANE Body and brass gearing, giving anglers Shimano's core technology at an affordable price. The brass gears provide reliable cranking power and smooth operation.
Despite a compact profile comparable to a 70-sized reel, the 150-size spool holds enough line for 135 yards of 30-pound PowerPro. A 45mm handle adds extra leverage, and this 6.3:1 model is geared for slower, more methodical presentations with 12 pounds of drag.
