The Shimano Current Sniper Jig - Green Mackerel is a versatile saltwater metal jig built for anglers who need one lure that can cast far, sink quickly, and work effectively throughout the water column. Its slim, aerodynamic body helps reach breaking fish from shore, pier, or boat, while the Green Mackerel baitfish finish gives predators a natural target in clear, stained, or changing light conditions.
Shimano designed the Current Sniper Jig for flexibility, making it a strong choice for targeting striped bass, bluefish, albies, yellowtail, tuna, and other saltwater game fish. Work it fast near the surface when fish are feeding aggressively, let it flutter through the mid-column, or jig it vertically around structure and depth changes.
Available in Green Mackerel with multiple weight options, this Shimano jig lets anglers match casting distance, sink rate, and presentation depth to the conditions.
