The SeaStar Standard Outboard Hose Kit is a hydraulic steering hose set designed for reliable, smooth helm response on outboard-powered boats. Each kit includes two equal-length hoses with factory-installed fittings, giving installers a clean, ready-to-route solution for new steering systems or hose replacement. Built for SeaStar hydraulic steering applications, these hoses feature abrasion-resistant construction, a 5/16 inch inner diameter, and 3/8 compression fittings to help maintain consistent steering performance in demanding marine conditions.
Boaters choose SeaStar for dependable steering feel when docking, trolling, cruising, or running in open water. These straight-line hoses are a practical option for center consoles, fishing boats, and recreational runabouts where secure hydraulic connections and predictable helm input matter. The black finish blends neatly with common rigging layouts while the paired-hose format simplifies replacement planning.
Please verify routing needs and steering system compatibility before ordering. Published source data consistently excludes SeaStar PRO, Capilano, and 3-line inboard systems, while BayStar compatibility wording varies by source, so application-specific confirmation is recommended. SeaStar steering fluid is the intended fluid type for this hose kit.
