This Seadog kill switch attaches to your life vest and instantly cuts battery power if you're separated from the helm of your boat or personal watercraft, whether from an accident or being thrown overboard.
This is the Magneto (Red Cap) version, which uses a normally open circuit: with the lanyard clip in place, the circuit stays open, and pulling the lanyard closes the circuit to ground, cutting power. The coiled lanyard measures about 15\" coiled and stretches to roughly 48\", and should be replaced if it becomes worn, cut, or frayed.
The switch mounts into a 5/8\" hole with a maximum panel thickness of 5/8\", and handles up to 5A at 12V. It's built from weatherproof injection-molded nylon and Delrin with brass terminals. Test the switch for proper function before each use.

Q. What's the difference between the Magneto and Ignition versions?
This is the Magneto (Red Cap) version, which uses a normally open circuit. Pulling the lanyard closes the circuit to ground and cuts power. The Ignition (Gray Cap) version works the opposite way, using a normally closed circuit that opens when the lanyard is pulled.
