The Scientific Anglers Frequency Sink Tip Type III is a versatile sinking-tip fly line designed to help anglers get flies down quickly while keeping excellent control in moving water. With a 10-foot Type III sink tip and a mid-length head, this Scientific Anglers line is a smart choice for streamer fishing from a boat, wading in rivers, or targeting fish in deeper current seams.

Key Features

  • Fast-Sinking Tip: The 10' Type III tip helps flies sink through the water column for effective streamer and wet fly presentations.
  • Controlled Casting: A mid-length head improves line control, making it easier to mend, track, and present flies accurately in moving water.
  • Braided Multifilament Core: Delivers dependable performance and smooth handling for everyday fly fishing use.
  • Versatile Species Coverage: Ideal for trout, steelhead, salmon, smallmouth bass, carp, panfish, and more in freshwater or saltwater.

Scientific Anglers designed the Frequency Sink Tip to balance affordability with proven performance, making it a practical option for anglers who want a reliable sink-tip setup without sacrificing casting feel. The yellow / dark green color pattern is easy to see on the water, helping with line management and tracking drift. Available in WF-5-F/S through WF-8-F/S, this line covers a range of rod setups for streamers, wet flies, and other subsurface presentations.

Whether you fish moving water from shore or from a boat, the Scientific Anglers Frequency Sink Tip Type III offers the sinking speed and control needed to stay in the strike zone longer.
