Scientific Anglers Amplitude Textured Trout GP is a high-performance floating fly line designed for trout anglers who want easy distance, smooth turnover, and precise presentation. Finished in Butter/Sage/Willow, this textured line combines advanced slickness with a versatile trout taper that performs well on dry flies, nymphs, wets, and small streamers.

Key Features

  • AST Plus Slickness: Scientific Anglers’ advanced additive reduces friction for longer casts and improved shootability.
  • Textured Construction: Floating texture on the tip and shooting texture in the running line help the line stay afloat and cast efficiently.
  • Mid-Length Head: Built for strong mending control and accurate deliveries at mid to long range.
  • Braided Multifilament Core: Supports smooth handling and dependable performance on the water.

Whether you are working technical spring creeks or covering open water, this Scientific Anglers trout fly line is built to help you present flies with confidence. The refined taper and floating design make it a smart choice for anglers who value delicate presentations without sacrificing distance. Scientific Anglers engineered the Amplitude Textured Trout GP to balance versatility and casting efficiency, making it a reliable option for everyday freshwater fly fishing.

Available in multiple line weights, the Amplitude Textured Trout GP pairs well with modern fly rods and performs best when matched to the rod’s recommended weight rating. It is a strong choice for anglers looking for a durable, floating trout line with a clean, stealthy color scheme and premium handling characteristics.
