The Okuma Tesoro LDJ Lever Drag Jigging Reel TLJ-2000 is a purpose-built jigging reel engineered for saltwater anglers who need compact power, smooth control, and long-term durability. The Tesoro LDJ combines a fully machined 6061-T6 aluminum frame and cold-forged spool with Okuma's drag and gearing systems to perform under heavy jigging loads.

Key Features

  • Machined Aluminum Construction: One-piece 6061-T6 frame, machined side plates and cold-forged spool for structural rigidity and corrosion resistance.
  • Carbonite Dual Force Drag + Flite Drive: Smooth, consistent drag with marked settings and reduced lever pressure for controlled fights and easier lever operation.
  • High-Torque Gearing & Anti-Reverse: XL stainless-steel gearing, triple anti-reverse (9+2 bearing support) and a machined power handle for strong cranking power and reliable hooksets.

Designed for vertical and slow-pitch jigging, the Okuma Tesoro LDJ thrives on large pelagics and tough bottom species. Anglers benefit from spool lock for snag break-offs, spool cut-out for precise feathering, and ergonomic handle options (TLJ-2000NA right-hand, TLJ-2000NLA left-hand). Manufacturer product weight is listed at ~20.9 oz (~1.3 lb); retailer shipping/packaged weights vary—see variant data for packaging estimates.

Specifications: Gear ratio 5.5:1, retrieve ~39.4 in/turn, max drag up to ~46 lb, 9+2 bearing system. The Tesoro LDJ is compatible with braided lines and conventional jigging rods and accepts common jigging accessories such as spare spools and power handles. Choose Okuma for reliable, saltwater-ready performance when jigging inshore or offshore.
