The Mustad Mezashi Slim Jig is a slim metal lead jig engineered for saltwater slow jigging and casting. With a head-heavy 55:45 balance, light-refracting Mezashi eyes and paired Mustad light-wire assist hooks, the Mezashi Slim Jig delivers a controlled vertical presentation that resists line-induced flutter and entices strikes in pelagic and nearshore fishing situations.
Designed for saltwater anglers, the Mustad Mezashi Slim Jig works well for vertical slow jigging from boats, pitching to structure, or longer casts from shore. Anglers commonly pair the Mezashi with braided line and a short, responsive jigging rod; lighter weights (40g) are ideal for shallower water or faster retrieves, mid-weights (60g) for moderate depths, and heavier sizes (100g) for deeper water and stronger currents. The slim, head-heavy profile resists line-induced movement for a more natural presentation.
Available in multiple color patterns and weights (examples: 40g / ≈1.4 oz, 60g / ≈2.1 oz, 100g / ≈3.5 oz). Packaged dimensions and shipping weights are estimated per variant in the product details below. Compatible with standard assist-hook setups, split rings and common jigging rigs. Made by Mustad.
