The Mustad Double Tuna Hook in Duratin finish is a forged saltwater double hook designed as a replacement belly-hook for large plugbaits and big-game species. Mustad's MVL-V1 needle point and forged 2X extra-strong construction deliver reliable penetration and strength when targeting tuna and other pelagic fish.

Key Features

  • Forged Strength: 2X extra-strong, 1X short shank construction for heavy-duty saltwater use.
  • MVL-V1 Needle Point: Advanced point geometry and sharpening process for improved penetration and reduced resistance.
  • Duratin Finish & Stainless Steel: Corrosion-resistant coating for long life in saltwater environments.
  • Easy Mounting: Designed to mount under plugs directly to the wire (no split ring required); match hook and split ring weight to preserve lure action.

These double hooks are intended as reliable replacements for treble belly hooks on large lures and are suitable for saltwater anglers chasing tuna, dorado and other big-game species. Mustad engineering focuses on consistent hook-up rates and durability so you can fish with confidence. Sizes are sold in 10-count packs to make replacing multiple lures fast and convenient.

Packaging and shipping note: typical 10-pack packaged dimensions are approximately 4.25 × 3.0 × 0.5 inches with an estimated packaged weight of ~1.6 oz. Actual packaged dimensions and weight may vary by size and packaging type; consult manufacturer specifications for exact shipping rates and compatibility with split rings and trebles.
