Loon UV Clear Fly Finish is a fast-curing UV resin for fly tying that cures in seconds when exposed to direct sunlight or Loon UV lamps. Designed for building heads, sealing bodies and setting eyes, this UV Clear Fly Finish gives a durable, glossy finish without mixing or long wait times. Available in multiple viscosities and sizes, Loon resin is ideal for both delicate midges and large streamer builds.

Key Features

  • Rapid Cure: Cures within seconds under Loon UV lights or direct sun for fast, repeatable results.
  • Multiple Viscosities: Available in Flow, Thin, Thick and Fluorescing formulations to suit micro heads, body coats or large built-up heads.
  • Precision Application: Taper-tip needle and brush applicator options make precise placement and smooth finishes easy.

Use Loon UV Clear Fly Finish as a head cement, eye adhesive, quick shell/back coat or instant repair for damaged flies. Flow (very thin) locks down threads and provides a thin, low-profile coating; Thin balances workability and build; Thick is formulated for bulk head and body building. The Fluorescing formula increases visibility underwater on certain patterns. The resin stays workable indoors or in shade until intentionally cured with a UV Mini Lamp, Power Light, UV Mega Light or sunlight.
