Bottomkote CA is a proven antifouling paint designed to deliver reliable season-to-season protection while naturally wearing away with use, helping prevent heavy build-up and reducing the need for sanding between applications. This self-polishing formula keeps your hull smoother for longer, improving performance and efficiency in a wide range of water conditions.
Bottomkote CA offers a flexible application schedule, allowing it to be applied in lower temperatures, and is compatible over most existing antifouling coatings. It’s suitable for both powerboats and sailboats, making it a versatile choice for boaters across Vancouver Island and beyond.
This antifouling paint is designed for below-the-waterline use on hulls and can be applied to fibreglass, wood, and steel surfaces. It performs effectively in saltwater, freshwater, and brackish environments, giving you dependable protection no matter where you boat.
For best results, apply two coats using a brush or roller, with a practical coverage of approximately 11.2 ft² per gallon. Bottomkote CA is not recommended for aluminum outdrives.
