Hookit 8" Foam Compounding Pad

3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Compounding Pad is a high performing foam compounding pad for refining sand scratches, slow-speed polishing, denibbing and more. Foam face pattern provides more surface contact, and holds compound to reduce slinging. Doubled-sided pads work with 3M™ Quick Connect Adaptors on rotary polishers; single-side pads work with the Hookit™ system for easy change-outs.

Use our 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Compounding Pad for excellent performance at every step during compounding. The pad combines features that save time and improve results. Choose from a variety of foam pads for specific applications including working with cured, hard or medium finish paint, denibbing, scratch removal and refining P1200 or finer sand scratches even in confined spaces. Foam pads are generally less aggressive and produce a finer finish than wool pads, ideal for the critical compounding stages of paint refinishing. Convoluted faced pads are designed to hold more compound and limit slinging for maximum efficiency. Double-sided 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Compounding Pads feature a center plate for added durability, and work with our 3M™ Quick Connect polisher adaptor. The adapter makes it easy for operators to quickly lock and center pads for smooth operation. The pads detach just as quickly, making changing pads easy and fast.
