Hareline Flashabou The Original is a lightweight, extra-limp mylar tinsel designed for fly tying and streamer patterns. Ideal for adding intense flash to tails, bodies and wings, Flashabou blends a marabou-like action with strong reflectivity to attract fish in both freshwater and saltwater. Available through Hareline in multiple colors, this Flashabou Copper (FLA6906) is a staple for streamers, buggers and saltwater patterns.

Key Features

  • Extra-Limp Mylar Tinsel: Flows naturally in current and does not stiffen marabou or wing materials.
  • Fine Width & Length: 1/69" wide strands x 10" length (approx. 1700 strands per pack) for subtle, high-density flash.
  • Versatile Use: Ideal for tails, ribbing, bodies, wings and saltwater flies.
  • Color Range: Offered in a wide palette including Copper, Silver, Gold and specialty holographics.

Fly tyers choose Flashabou for its ease of use and the ability to add concentrated, reflective flash without bulk. Flashabou pairs well with marabou, dubbing and synthetic wings; it can also replace mylar tinsel for ribbing or body wraps. Hareline stocks an extensive color range, making it simple to match water conditions and target species.
