The Hareline Spirit River UV2 Strung Saddle is a UV-enhanced, strung saddle hackle designed for fly tying streamers, wooly buggers and warmwater or saltwater patterns. Hareline's UV2 treatment increases underwater visibility while rooster-sourced hackle provides stiffness and lively bounce for improved movement. Individual fibers typically run about 5–6.5 inches (sold as 6–7" strung saddles that commonly measure 5–6.5").
Fly tyers choose Hareline for reliable, consistent materials; the Spirit River UV2 saddles perform well across freshwater and saltwater applications. The strung format is ideal for quickly dressing hooks and building bodies or collars on streamers, bugger patterns, and classic wet flies. The UV2 finish gives extra punch without overwhelming the color scheme, and the rooster hackle holds up through multiple fish and tying sessions.
Available in a wide range of colors (this SKU is Red #095). Packaged weight is approximately 0.5 oz and individual fiber length typically 5–6.5"; estimated packaged dimensions are about 8" x 3.5" x 0.5" to accommodate the 6–7" strung saddle. Compatible with standard tying thread, dubbing, chenille and a variety of hook sizes. For full technical details reference Hareline product notes.
