The Hareline UV2 Select CDC are premium Cul de Canard (CDC) feathers treated with Spirit River's UV2 dye process to deliver enhanced ultraviolet reflectance and visibility. Ideal for fly tying emergers, dry flies and soft hackle nymphs, these select CDC feathers offer natural translucency and buoyancy to create lifelike wings, shucks and legs that attract trout during hatch conditions.

Key Features

  • UV2 Dyed: Spirit River UV2 treatment increases UV reflectance for improved visibility in low light and during blanket hatches.
  • Premium Select CDC: Soft, buoyant fibers selected to minimize quill breakage and provide natural translucency.
  • Neatly Packaged: Feathers are stacked and protected in a small pack to preserve shape and make selection easy.
  • Versatile Use: Ideal for emergers, dry flies, soft hackles and realistic mayfly wings/shucks.
  • Color Range: Available in a wide range of natural and dyed tones for accurate pattern matching.

Fly tyers choose Hareline UV2 Select CDC for the lifelike movement and flotation CDC brings to patterns. The UV2 finish by Spirit River adds an extra visual cue trout often key on, helping flies stand out during heavy hatches. These feathers pair well with fine tying thread, micro hooks and light dubbing to produce realistic emergers, dries and soft-hackle patterns for trout, grayling and other gamefish.
