Hareline UV2 Roe Yarn is a fly tying material engineered to produce realistic egg patterns and attractor blobs. The UV2 fluorescent treatment increases visibility in low light and stained water, making it ideal for salmon, steelhead and trout patterns. This lightweight, easy-to-trim yarn helps fly tiers create consistent egg clusters and attractors quickly.
Whether tying river egg patterns, blob flies or subtle attractors, Hareline UV2 Roe Yarn delivers consistent color and body for every fly. The material works well with beads, hooks and chenille bodies and pairs easily with epoxy or floatants when building buoyant attractors. Fly tiers appreciate how the yarn holds shape, trims cleanly, and accepts UV-enhanced dye without fraying.
Specifications: Each pack contains approximately 0.5 oz (≈14 g) of roe yarn. Packaged dimensions are compact for easy storage—see variant details for exact SKU information (HL-ROE137 — Fl Orange). Compatible with standard fly-tying hooks, beads and head cements. For best results, tie eggs with a small amount of thread and trim to desired size.
