The Hareline Tyers 4-Color Dyed Grizzly Starter Cape Set is a pack of four half capes designed for fly tying, with a color palette tailored to salmon and steelhead streamers. This starter set from Hareline provides versatile grizzly hackle for streamers, wet flies and larger patterns, giving tyers consistent feather quality and easy-to-work quills.

Key Features

  • Four Half Capes: One pack contains four dyed grizzly half capes selected for salmon/steelhead patterns.
  • Premium Hackle: Long, supple grizzly feathers with strong quills that tie well and give natural movement in the water.
  • Color Variety: Includes a balanced mix of grizzly tones (commonly brown, grizzly, dun and cream) to cover multiple patterns and accents.
  • Versatile Use: Ideal for streamers, salmon and steelhead flies, bass bugs and other larger fly patterns.

Hareline capes are chosen by both beginners and experienced tyers for their consistent barb quality and tying-friendly quills. The dyed grizzly selection saves time while expanding your palette for freshwater salmon and steelhead work. These capes work with standard fly-tying vises, threads, hooks and materials like dubbing and chenille, making them an easy addition to any tying bench.

Packaging & Specs: Packaged weight is approximately 3 oz and typical packaged dimensions are approximately 9.5" x 6" x 0.5" (flat poly bag). For exact packaged measurements or bulk/wholesale packaging options, contact Hareline Dubbin or your distributor.
