Hareline Tube Cone Heads are brass cone heads designed specifically for tube fly tying, providing an easy way to add weight and a realistic head profile to tube flies. These tube cone heads are made with a large center hole to slide over plastic tubes and are available in Medium (7/32" / 5.5mm) and Large (1/4" / 6.5mm) sizes. Each pack contains 20 cones for repeat tying sessions and pattern experimentation.

Key Features

  • Large Center Hole: Designed to fit over plastic tubing for quick, reliable placement.
  • Brass Construction: Adds compact weight and durability to improve hook-up and presentation.
  • Multiple Sizes & Finishes: Available in Medium (7/32") and Large (1/4") with a variety of metallic and fluorescent finishes.
  • Easy Attachment: Can be slid onto the leader or locked to the tube by slightly flaring and melting the tube for a secure fit.

These cone heads are ideal for fly tiers tying streamers, saltwater and freshwater tube flies, and attractor patterns. Hareline cone heads help concentrate weight at the head for improved strike control and a natural swimming profile. Use them with HMH rigid tubes or most standard tube fly tubing; finishes like fluorescent pink or orange add visibility for certain patterns while metallic finishes provide a natural head flash.

Specifications: 20 cones per pack. Sizes: Medium 7/32" (5.5mm) and Large 1/4" (6.5mm). Packaged weight approximately 0.1 oz; packaged dimensions approximately 3.5 x 2.25 x 0.4 inches. Always verify compatibility with your tubing before final assembly.
