The Hareline STS Trilobal Dubbing Dispenser is a compact, bench-ready dubbing dispenser designed for fly tying. Featuring Hareline's STS trilobal synthetic fibers in a convenient 12-color assortment, this dubbing dispenser delivers translucent, three-sided fibers that add lifelike sheen and movement to nymphs, streamers, trout flies, and salmon/steelhead patterns.

Key Features

  • 12-Color Assortment: Hatch-matching colors selected for trout or salmon/steelhead patterns so you can quickly find the right shade.
  • Trilobal Synthetic Fibers: Three-sided, reflective fibers add translucency and subtle flash for more attractive, realistic flies.
  • Multi-Purpose Length: Fibers are long enough for bodies, heads, and small wings on a wide range of patterns.
  • Compact Dispenser: Durable, compartmentalized plastic box keeps colors organized and is portable for travel or on-stream repairs.

Hareline STS Trilobal dubbing is similar in length and texture to simi seal, providing natural translucency while remaining fully synthetic and easy to work with. Fly tiers rely on Hareline for consistent fiber quality and color repeatability; use with dubbing loops, bobbins, or traditional dubbing techniques to build realistic thoraxes and bodies. The translucency and sheen are especially effective on trout nymphs and larger salmon/steelhead streamers where subtle flash increases strike attraction.
