Hareline Strung Schlappen are soft, long, webby feathers engineered for fly tying. Measuring approximately 5–7" in length, these strung schlappen provide lifelike movement and body to streamers, woolly buggers and saltwater patterns. Available in numerous colors, Hareline Schlappen are a go-to material for tiers looking to add flowing action to large flies.
Hareline Schlappen lets fly tiers quickly build larger, more lifelike profiles that attract predatory fish. Hareline quality means reliable color matching and workable fibers that trim cleanly and pair well with marabou, chenille, flash and synthetics. Use these feathers for trout streamers, bass and pike patterns, as well as saltwater and steelhead setups where added length and motion matter.
Specifications: Feathers 5–7" long; pack weight approximately 1/4 oz (0.25 oz). Manufacturer packaging dimensions are not published; estimated packaged size is about 8 × 4 × 0.25 inches to accommodate the strung feathers. Compatible with standard tying tools and Hareline materials.
