Hareline Schlappen Feathers 5-7" are premium fly-tying materials designed to add lifelike movement and bulk to streamers, intruders, woolly buggers and larger saltwater patterns. Sourced from schlappen roosters, these feathers feature long, soft, webby fibers that create natural action in the water. Each package contains approximately 1/4 oz (0.25 oz) of strung schlappen with individual quills about 5–7 inches long.
Hareline Schlappen is a versatile material trusted by fly tyers for consistent color and easy handling. Use these feathers for collars on intruders, tails on deceivers, palmered bodies, or as trailing fibers on bass and saltwater poppers. The thin stems make schlappen easy to tie, trim and shape; they layer well with marabou, flashabou, chenille and synthetic dubbings to create realistic profiles and enticing movement.
Available in a broad palette including Olive #263, Hareline Schlappen suits both freshwater and saltwater patterns. The feather length and light 1/4 oz pack weight make these feathers compact additions to any tying bench or travel kit. See the specific variant listing for SKU and barcode details to confirm color and inventory information.
