Hareline Dubbin Easy Egg Chenille is a textured fly-tying chenille created to simplify tying realistic egg patterns. Ideal for egg flies used for trout, salmon and steelhead, this chenille delivers a lifelike profile with minimal wraps so tiers can produce consistent eggs quickly. Hareline’s Easy Egg Chenille is a go-to material for anglers and fly tiers who need repeatable, effective egg patterns.

Key Features

  • Textured Chenille: Slightly bumpy texture produces a realistic egg shape that holds color and reflects light.
  • Uniform Diameter: Consistent thickness along the length ensures repeatable egg sizes and easier tying.
  • Easy To Tie: Designed for wrap-and-go construction — only a few turns required and minimal trimming needed.
  • Wide Color Range: Available in fluorescent and natural egg colors to match local conditions and attract fish.

Use Hareline Easy Egg Chenille for beadhead eggs, yarn-egg alternatives, or as a quick wrap for indicator rigs. The material pairs well with standard fly-tying threads, bead heads, and small dubbing to create compact, fish-catching egg profiles. Hareline Dubbin’s consistent color matching and material quality help you tie reliably under bench or field conditions.
