Key Features

• Soft, textured fibers: Dense chenille builds a convincing egg profile that trims cleanly and accepts finishes.
• Fast to tie: Tie in, wrap a few turns, trim, and finish — perfect for quick egg patterns and bulk tying.
• Wide color selection: Available in numbered colors (e.g., Fl Red #139, Roe #379, Apricot #4) for easy reordering and color matching.
• Finish-friendly: Synthetic fibers accept thread wraps, head cement, epoxy, and other coatings for increased durability.

Use Hareline Easy Egg Chenille for indicator eggs, spawn patterns, droppers, or small attractor bodies. Fly tiers at all skill levels can rely on the material's forgiving nature to produce consistent, repeatable results. The chenille pairs well with standard fly-tying threads, beads, and hooks; it can be trimmed or tapered to vary profile and presentation. Hareline's Easy Egg Chenille is commonly used by anglers tying trout and salmon patterns where compact, colored egg imitations are effective.
