Hareline Dubbin Crosscut Rabbit Strips 1/8" are rabbit-hide strips engineered for fly tying applications, delivering natural movement and easy wrapping for streamers, leeches and saltwater flies. Each pack contains four 8–9" crosscut strips whose fibers lay back along the hook shank to create streamlined collars and palmered bodies with lifelike action in the water.

Key Features

  • Crosscut Construction: Fibers cut across the hide lay parallel to the shank for smooth palmering and clean wraps.
  • 1/8" Width: Narrow strips ideal for precise body work, collars and leech patterns without excess bulk.
  • High-Action Hair: Long rabbit hairs provide superior movement for freshwater and saltwater patterns.
  • Wide Color Range: Available in dyed and natural shades for accurate pattern matching.
  • Pack Contents: Four 8–9" strips per pack; packaged weight ~10 g.

Fly tyers rely on Hareline Crosscut Rabbit Strips for predictable fiber orientation and easy handling. The 1/8" crosscut is especially useful when wrapping around hook shanks or Superbraid and makes attractive collars on streamers and leeches that read as natural baitfish or aquatic prey. Hareline Dubbin's color selection helps match local forage and water conditions for trout, bass, steelhead and saltwater species.
