Hareline Dubbin Cactus Chenille is a versatile fly-tying chenille designed to add textured bodies and eye-catching flash to streamers, woolly buggers and jigs. Each pack contains approximately 3 yards of pearlescent, short-fiber chenille that ties easily and provides durable, lifelike movement underwater. Hareline Dubbin's Cactus Chenille is available in multiple colors and two thicknesses to suit freshwater and saltwater patterns.

Key Features

  • Sparkling Pearlescent Fibers: Iridescent fibers woven into the chenille produce subtle flash to attract fish.
  • Shaggy, Lifelike Texture: Short, undulating fibers give bodies a realistic profile and movement.
  • Easy to Wrap: Consistent diameter is ideal for forming heads and bodies on hooks and jigs.
  • Multiple Sizes & Colors: Available in Medium and Large thicknesses and a wide color palette, including Olive (#263).
  • 3 Yards Per Pack: Enough material for multiple flies per pack.

Fly tyers choose Hareline Cactus Chenille for its combination of durability and sparkle—perfect for woolly buggers, streamers, nymphs and jig bodies targeting bass, trout and panfish. The short, pearlescent fibers resist fraying and water absorption, keeping tied patterns looking good cast after cast. Hareline Cactus Chenille pairs well with dubbing, wire ribbing and silicone legs and is compatible with standard fly-tying tools and hooks.
