The Hardy Euro Averon Fly Reel is a lightweight, high‑performance fly reel engineered for Euro nymphing and technical light‑line river fishing. Hardy designed the Averon to deliver rapid line retrieval, precise drag control, and reliable long‑term performance in a compact large‑arbour package.

- Super large arbour, narrow spool design
- Full cage frame design
- Silky smooth, enclosed multi pad disc drag system
- Two and a half turn indexed drag for quick and precise adjustments
- Ultra low start up inertia
- Reduced frame tolerances to reduce line escape
- Supplied with 3 optional balance weights (0.6oz, 1.2oz, and 1.8oz) allow you to optimise in hand balance with longer technical river rods
Anglers choosing the Hardy Averon get a reel that excels on technical trout waters — it’s optimized for Euro nymphing, light‑line freshwater tactics, and works well with longer technical rods. Hardy's precision machining reduces line escape and snagging, while the weighting system lets you fine‑tune rod/reel balance. The Averon comes with right/left handle options and backing capacity suitable for common setups (e.g., 5000 EN: WF6 + 23 yds of 20 lb Dacron).
