The Garmin GPSMAP 743xsv is a 7-inch touchscreen chartplotter that combines sonar and mapping in one unit. It comes preloaded with Navionics+ coastal and inland charts covering the US and Canada.
Built-in Ultra High-Definition SideVü and ClearVü scanning sonar give clear, high-contrast views of structure and fish below the boat. The unit also supports 1 kW traditional CHIRP sonar for added depth-reading range.
The 7" touchscreen has 60% more pixels than earlier-generation GPSMAP models, with a design tuned for visibility in direct sunlight. A near-doubling of processing power over previous models keeps the interface responsive.
Navionics+ charts include Auto Guidance+ technology to help with route planning (this is a planning aid only, not a substitute for safe navigation practices). The GPSMAP 743xsv also supports optional Garmin Navionics Vision+ premium charts.
Connect compatible sonar, autopilot, radar, cameras, and multimedia devices over NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 networking, or pair with other Garmin devices such as quatix marine smartwatches and wireless remote controls. Built-in Garmin SailAssist features (laylines, race functions, wind data) are available with a compatible wind transducer, sold separately.
