The Gold Star Hoochie 3.5 - Red Racer / Double Green Glow is a proven squid-style trolling lure skirt designed for salmon and other saltwater trolling applications. Part of the well-known Gold Star Hoochies by Yamashita lineup, this 3.5-inch hoochie offers the classic pulsing action anglers want when fishing behind flashers, dodgers, or bait heads. The Red Racer / Double Green Glow color pattern adds visibility and contrast for productive trolling in changing light and water conditions.

Key Features

  • 3.5-Inch Hoochie Profile: A versatile squid-style size commonly used for salmon trolling and rigged teaser presentations.
  • Glow and Contrast Finish: The Red Racer / Double Green Glow pattern helps improve visibility in deeper water, low light, or overcast conditions.
  • Flexible Soft Skirt: Soft material creates natural movement and lifelike action at a wide range of trolling speeds.

Gold Star hoochies are popular with anglers who want a reliable trolling lure that rigs easily with common terminal setups. Fish it behind a flasher, pair it with bait, or run it as part of a customized salmon trolling spread. The 3.5-inch size is a practical choice for targeting Chinook, coho, and similar game fish while maintaining an appealing profile in saltwater or coastal conditions.

Whether you are refreshing your tackle box or building a proven trolling rig, Gold Star by Yamashita remains a trusted name for classic hoochie squid lures that are easy to rig and effective on the water.
