The Gene Larew Biffle Hardhead Jig Head is a versatile jig head designed to give soft plastic baits a realistic, bottom-hugging presentation. This swinging football-style jig head features a powder-coated finish and a pivoting hook system that lets plastics move freely while remaining weedless—ideal for bass and freshwater anglers seeking reliable bottom contact.

Key Features

  • Pivoting Hook System: Two wire loops—one line tie and one pivot for the hook—allow natural bait movement and weedless rigging.
  • Powder-Coated Head: Durable finish resists chips and provides a realistic flash on the bottom.
  • Performance Design: Football-style head improves bottom tracking and helps catch bites in heavy cover and structure.

Use the Gene Larew Biffle Hardhead with soft plastics such as the Biffle Bug, worms, and creature baits for an authentic baitfish or forage profile. Gene Larew designed the Biffle Hardhead to provide tournament-proven action—Tommy Biffle's wins popularized this rig—so anglers get a proven jig head that balances hookup percentage with weedless performance. Available in multiple weights from 3/16 oz to 1 oz and common hook sizes, packs are compact for easy tackle box storage.
