The Garmin Signal™ VHF 220 Marine VHF Radio is a 25 W Class D DSC emergency marine radio equipped with a built-in AIS receiver that displays surrounding vessel tracking data directly on-screen to assist with collision avoidance. Designed for high visibility and helm space efficiency, it features a 3.5-inch edge-to-edge color touchscreen display with 1,000-nit brightness. For clear communication in harsh marine environments, the unit incorporates machine-learning adaptive noise cancellation, automated squelch, and a VHF audio playback function capable of rewinding missed transmissions up to 3 minutes. Additionally, it offers seamless integration into vessel electronics via NMEA 2000® and Garmin BlueNet™ networks, connects to the Garmin ActiveCaptain® app over Wi-Fi® for easy software and MMSI setup, and utilizes an integrated GPS receiver so that VHF, DSC, and AIS functions operate using a single shared antenna.
