The GLO 2 is a Bluetooth GPS receiver that pairs wirelessly with your iPad, iPhone, or Android device to deliver precise position data on the app of your choice. It combines GPS and GLONASS receivers, giving it access to roughly 24 more satellites than devices relying on GPS alone.
That extra satellite access lets the GLO 2 lock on about 20% faster and stay connected even at higher speeds. It updates position data up to 10 times per second — faster than the GPS receivers built into most mobile devices.
Setup and Battery Life
Pairing is straightforward: place the GLO 2 within Bluetooth range of your device and it starts sending position data within moments. Battery life runs up to 13 hours per charge, and it recharges via the included USB cable or an optional 12/24V vehicle power cable. An optional friction mount is also available to keep the receiver secure and in view of satellites on your dashboard.
