The Fireboy-Xintex CMD6-MD-R CO Alarm is a marine-grade carbon monoxide detector designed for boats, yachts and RVs. Manufactured by Fireboy-Xintex, this compact 12/24V DC alarm uses a microprocessor Time-Weighted Average (TWA) sensing method to reliably detect dangerous CO levels while minimizing false alarms. Ideal for sleeping areas and enclosed accommodation spaces, the CMD6-MD-R provides continuous protection with a permanent internal backup battery.
Fireboy-Xintex units are built for marine safety and RV use, giving owners a dependable carbon monoxide alarm that’s easy to install and maintain. The CMD6-MD-R’s long sensor life (approximately 7 years) and low power draw make it a practical choice for continuous monitoring on boats and recreational vehicles. The R-version’s internal relay and interconnect support system-level shutdowns or alerts when paired with compatible equipment.
Packaged dimensions: approximately 4 x 4 x 2 inches; packaged weight: ~1 lb. Voltage range: 12–24V DC. For best protection, install one detector in each accommodation or sleeping space and consult Fireboy-Xintex documentation for placement and wiring guidance.
