The Egis Mobile 8710-1900 XD Series 500A Battery Switch/Mechanical Contactor is a heavy-duty battery switch designed for marine, automotive and industrial 8–36 VDC systems. Built with silver-alloy contacts and sealed IP67/IP6K9K construction, this Egis Mobile battery switch provides reliable high-current switching, corrosion resistance and ignition-protected operation for demanding environments.

- High Current Capacity: 500 A continuous rating and 1500 A max cranking for heavy starter and accessory loads.
- Durable Contacts: Silver alloy contact points deliver low-resistance switching and long service life under high loads.
- Sealed, Ventilated Housing: IP67/IP6K9K enclosure with integrated Gore‑Tex pressure vent for moisture regulation and extended reliability.
- Manual Override: Bright yellow, lockable knob with clear ON/OFF positions for intuitive manual control and safety.
- Protected Terminals: Included protective cover, stainless steel M10 studs and compatibility with 1/4-20 or M6 mounting hardware.
- System Integration: Integrates with XD Series FLEX/ACR/LVD relays using optional 8790 Link and 8791 Cross Link Busbars for multi-relay setups.
Installers choose the Egis Mobile XD Series switch for dependable battery isolation and simplified electrical control. The compact rectangular case reduces install space while ignition-protected electronics make it suitable for boats, RVs, commercial vehicles and off-grid systems.
