The Danielson Halibut Leader is built for targeting halibut with herring and other large baits, offering a strong and reliable setup for deep-water fishing. This rig features sharp nickel Octopus hooks and an adjustable slip-tied lead hook, making it easy to secure bait properly and improve hook-up rates.
Constructed from durable 60 lb test nylon-coated, stranded stainless steel wire, this leader is designed to handle heavy fish and tough conditions. Heavy-duty crimped sleeves provide added strength and reliability, giving anglers confidence when fishing for large halibut.
Whether you’re fishing offshore or along Vancouver Island, this ready-to-use halibut leader is a dependable choice for consistent performance on the water.
