The CURT 2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch is built to make loading boats and other trailer-ready equipment smoother, safer, and more controlled. Designed for marine and utility trailer use, this manual trailer winch is a compatible replacement for many DL and Fulton-style winches. Depending on the selected capacity, it is rated for loads from 2,000 to 3,800 lbs. and uses high and low gear ratios to give you the right balance of speed and pulling power when winching larger boats onto a trailer.

Key Features

  • 2-speed gearing: Selectable gear ratios help reduce cranking effort while still allowing faster retrieval when needed.
  • Cold-forged steel construction: Heavy-duty steel and solid gears provide dependable strength for repeated trailer loading.
  • Corrosion-resistant finish: Zinc plating and durable bushings help the winch stand up to harsh marine environments.

CURT designed this hand winch with universal slotted mounting holes for easier installation across a range of trailer setups. A locking lever adds control and safety during operation, while the comfort-grip handle helps make repeated cranking more manageable. Oil-impregnated metal bushings promote smooth rotation, and the broached pinion shaft is engineered for secure gear engagement.

For boat owners who need reliable trailer winching performance, CURT delivers a practical solution for loading larger fishing boats, runabouts, and other equipment. This CURT winch is ideal for trailer applications where durability, corrosion resistance, and mechanical advantage matter. Strap and cable are sold separately, allowing you to configure the winch for your specific trailer setup.
