The RH3740 is our most universal rod holder designed to hold almost every rod/reel combination commonly used. This rod holder can be horizontally rotated in 22.5-degree increments in the mount and the rapid adjust trigger allows four vertical fishing positions (0, 25, 50 and 75 degrees). When a fish strikes, the RH3740 can be quickly rotated to the vertical position with the simple activation of the trigger. The vertical position makes it easy to remove the loaded rod from the holder and also acts as a rod storage location when idle or running. The RH3740 Rod Holder will accept rod butt diameters as large as 1.5” (39mm) and is compatible with the GM400 and GM650 boating Mounts.
