Job Opportunity: Full-Time & Part-Time Fishing Department Sales
Location: Harbour Chandler Esplanade & Harbour Chandler Waterfront
The Harbour Chandler Ltd is looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused team members to join our Fishing Department. If you have a passion for fishing, enjoy helping customers find the right gear, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with fishing tackle, rods, reels, bait, and related product recommendations
- Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
- Help maintain accurate product displays, merchandising, and department organization
- Support inventory replenishment, stocking, and general store upkeep
- Stay current on fishing products, local techniques, and seasonal trends
- Support the retail team during busy sales events, promotions, and peak fishing seasons
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong fishing knowledge is considered a significant asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic computer and point-of-sale system knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
