Job Opportunity: Boat Sales Associate
Location: Harbour Chandler Esplanade & Harbour Chandler Waterfront
Starting Wage: Based on experience
The Harbour Chandler Ltd is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Boat Sales Associate to join our team. If you’re passionate about boating, have a strong sales background, and enjoy helping customers find the right vessel, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting the right boats and marine products based on their needs
- Build strong customer relationships from initial inquiry through final sale and delivery
- Respond to in-store, phone, and online sales inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Prepare quotes, financing paperwork, and sales documentation as required
- Maintain strong product knowledge on current boat models, marine accessories, and promotions
- Work with the team to keep the showroom and inventory presentation clean and customer-ready
- Support boat show events, promotions, and seasonal sales initiatives
Qualifications:
- Previous boat sales or marine industry sales experience is required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Proven ability to work toward sales goals in a fast-paced environment
- Experience preparing quotes, sales paperwork, and customer follow-up
- Strong computer skills and comfort with sales systems or CRM tools
- Self-motivated, organized, professional, and detail-oriented
- Extensive boating and marine product knowledge is a strong asset
