This Simrad NAC-3 VRF Core Pack provides the core components for upgrading an outboard or sterndrive boat above 10 metres (35 feet) with a Continuum autopilot system. Add a drive unit to match your steering setup, then choose a Simrad controller or multifunction display.
The pack works with high-current drive pumps such as the Simrad RPU160 and RPU300, mechanical drives like the DD15, hydraulic linear drives such as the HLD2000 series, and solenoid valves. Simrad's Virtual Rudder Feedback (VRF) technology eliminates the need to fit a mechanical rudder feedback unit on outboard and sterndrive boats, simplifying installation while maintaining Continuum steering performance. Industry-standard NMEA 2000® networking and NMEA 0183® input keep sensors, controllers and multifunction displays connected anywhere on board.
Control your autopilot from the Simrad AP44 controller, IS42 display and OP12 keypad, or from a networked multifunction display. Extra autopilot stations can be added for dual-helm boats, and the optional Simrad WR10 wireless remote gives steering control from anywhere on board.
